Re: Carroll to Newcastle.
Silly cunt has just bought Rod Stewart's gaff for 6 mil then says Newcastle is home. Hope he does well there anyhow Could have been a legend for us, instead his legacy is that of a comedy character who turned us over. Shame.

Re: Carroll to Newcastle.
Why didnt we give him this type of contract? we may have brought in 2 strikers but a pay as you play AC would have been a no risk signing of sorts.

Good luck to him though at Newcastle, his boyhood club, they may well need him at his best to avoid the drop.

Will watch with interest how he goes.

will be injury free and score 20 wont he.

Re: Carroll to Newcastle.
I think people are being harsh on him. Poor cunt can’t help being made of glass.

There’s obviously more to it than ‘because he likes to go on the piss’ - plenty of players were piss heads over the years and never suffered as many injuries as him.

His injury proneness could be because of the physical way he plays. He’s a big lump and moves with a lot of power, that force ends up going somewhere if he gets stopped or changes direction suddenly. His physicality is what makes him or breaks him (usually breaks him)

I’d bet a million pounds he won’t start more than ten games for them

Re: Carroll to Newcastle.
If he'd been fortunate enough to have an injury-free career it would have been a glorious one - and he probably would never have landed in East London.

I wish him well.

He's targeting mid September for his first match. Yep he's injured

I wonder what is he going to do with the money pit that he bought off of Rod Stewart?

The Durham Bumper is going back home....

.....and they are fucking welcome to him...

Last time, he looked like he had come back from Siberia.

On foot.

Without any shoes.

Some of the previous comebacks he's looked pretty good. This last one he looked like he needed to be taken around the back of the barn and put out of his misery.

Re: Carroll to Newcastle.
I had a look on a Newcastle forum to see how it's gone down. Theres mixed reviews but I thought this one had it about right.

"Muto played 17 premiership games and scored 1 goal for us last season. Gayle played none and scored none. Likewise Joelinton (obviously), played none scored none, new to the league and all that entails.

And we get Mr “very good when he's fit” (Played 12 scored 0 last season)"

Re: Carroll to Newcastle.
we should never have signed him in the first place.
He’s in the West Ham folklore though with Kieron Dyer, Stewart Robson and Gary Charles etc etc

Re: Carroll to Newcastle.
25+ games and 10 goals including at least one against us, I reckon.

Re: Carroll to Newcastle.
Couldn't give a stuff. So pleased we let him go, should have got rid sooner.
Biggest waste of space and money from the minute he came on loan. Changed our style of play to hoofball and was always completely overrated. Can't understand why some people think he was ever any good. I you want people to foul and jump into opponents or make a mess of defending a corner then he's your man. Massive bonus if he plays for them, they'll be crap.

Re: Carroll to Newcastle.
I've got nothing against Andy but if he manages more than 10 games for them I will be fuming.

Judging by his performances last season he's finished as a top level footballer though.

He'll still score against us. Nailed on.

Re: Carroll to Newcastle.
He will leave his fiancé and children in Essex, settle back in the toon, find another Geordie slut, get injured, will end up begging Nolan to join him,to sort the mess out. His fiancé will sell up in Essex, join him in the toon, and everyone will live happily ever after.( except Bruce, who will be looking for another job by Xmas. Nolan and Carroll to take over.)

Capitol Man 8:04 Thu Aug 8
Re: Carroll to Newcastle.
Clearly an injury-free, 20-goal season coming up with at least four against us, probably more.

Tomshardware 8:03 Thu Aug 8

Good luck to him.
